（吉隆坡20日訊）2013年7月獲承認為合法徵收版權費機構的大馬音樂演藝者權益有限公司（PRISM），開始向播放藝人表演錄影的餐飲業者及小販中心徵收版權費，讓業者感到混淆。

雪隆區多家餐飲業者及小販中心自7月開始陸續接獲大馬音樂演藝者權益有限公司的通知信，表示要徵收表演錄影版權費。

（吉隆坡20日讯）以往只由大马唱片业播放版权有限公司（PPM）负责征收表演者版权费，最近出现音乐演艺者权益有限公司（PRISM），也向国内茶餐室征收此费用，因权限重叠，让业者感到混淆，是否会重复缴费。

马来西亚知识产权企业家总会（AIPO）总会长骆俊宏今日说，在过去，代表大马唱片艺人协会（RPM）征收表演者版权费的大马唱片业播放版权有限公司（PPM），以及音乐演艺者权益有限公司都是向马来西亚知识产权局（MyIPO）注册，两个机构虽代表不同的表演者，但都是负责同样的责任。
